HERIT4AGES at TechnoHeritage2024
The HERIT4AGES project will be represented at the 5th International Congress on Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage (TechnoHeritage2024), set to take place from September 25–27 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The event is jointly organized by the Spanish Network Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage (TechnoHeritage), the Specialized Group of Chemistry for the Study and Conservation of Cultural Heritage (GEQP) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ).
Our project partner, CETIM, will present recent achievements in sustainable conservation strategies for cultural heritage. Specific topics will include the characterization and biodeterioration of heritage materials, conservation approaches for archaeological sites and museums, and the application of sustainable materials and technologies for restoration. This multidisciplinary event provides an ideal platform for exploring these topics and exchanging knowledge among leading experts, researchers, and industry representatives.
We are also proud to announce that TESELA, another key partner within the HERIT4AGES consortium, will serve as the Golden Sponsor of the conference. This sponsorship emphasizes TESELA’s significant role in promoting innovation and sustainability within the field of heritage conservation.
This event promises to further the discussion on innovative conservation methodologies, contributing to the advancement of long-term, effective solutions for protecting our cultural heritage.
