HERIT4AGES poster session at TechnoHeritage2024

We are pleased to share the success of the 5th International Congress on Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage (TechnoHeritage2024), held in Santiago de Compostela on September 25-27. We are thankful that HERIT4AGES was able to participate as well!

This prestigious event provided a platform for over 180 experts in the field, including researchers, industry representatives, and experts to exchange knowledge on the latest conservation methodologies.

M. Alberto Miguéns Blanco from CETIM, in collaboration with colleagues from TESELA, proudly presented HERIT4AGES' project poster showcasing sustainable and innovative conservation strategies for cultural heritage. During the poster session, they engaged with various heritage partners to discuss the HERIT4AGES and other related projects. Furthermore, they attended several presentations to keep in touch with the newest R&D actions in the field, specifically the ones linked with new materials for heritage works.

CETIM shared insights on heritage material characterization and restoration strategies, while TESELA, the Golden Sponsor of TechnoHeritage2024, highlighted their work in sustainability and innovation in heritage conservation.

The event has contributed to HERIT4AGES' impact on long-term, effective solutions for protecting the cultural heritage of Europe mainly through interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange of know-how among multiple stakeholder groups.

We extend our gratitude to the TechnoHeritage2024 organizers for hosting this invaluable event that brought together the brightest minds in science, chemistry, technology, and cultural heritage conservation.
