Introducing UNIBO - The Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna

The Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, considered the oldest university in the Western world, paves the way for innovation through an increasingly rich programme catalogue, cutting-edge research, a constant and increasingly broad international perspective, and a strong third mission. In Herit4ages, UNIBO will take on the roles of task leader or co-leader across various activities. In Work package 2, it will lead the efforts in mapping and analyzing relevant energy efficiency policies at both EU and local levels, as well as studying multi-level barriers. In Work package 3, UNIBO will lead initiatives focused on fostering community engagement in conservation and energy renovation processes to promote sustainable, accessible, and inclusive heritage. Additionally, in Work package 4, UNIBO will provide valuable support in the implementation of Herit4ages Digital Twin solutions. Furthermore, UNIBO will actively participate in all case study-related activities across WP6, WP7, and WP8, with a specific focus on managing the demo site of the Faculty of Engineering of Bologna, an example of higher-education Modern architecture built the last century.
