A new collaboration with the HeriTACE project

Herit4ages is joining forces with the HeriTACE project!

The EU-funded project HeriTACE aims to transform heritage townhouse buildings into energy-efficient assets while preserving their historical integrity. The initiative is studying four townhouse typologies in Mantova, Tallinn, Trondheim, and Trent in three major climate zones.

HeriTACE works towards a sustainable future for heritage buildings by aligning preservation efforts with environmental goals. The project addresses deep renovation challenges by promoting efficient, standardized practices and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. It focuses on integrating local renewable energy solutions into heritage buildings. Using a holistic approach, HeriTACE employs durable insulation, optimized HVAC systems, and aesthetically integrated energy solutions at the neighbourhood level.
